Chainfelt Marketing LLC ("Chainfelt," "we," "us") operates chainfelt.com (the "Site") and provides marketing services. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it. It is not legal advice.
Information we collect
- Information you give us. When you submit the contact form or email us, we collect your name, email address, and anything you write (your project, chain, budget, and message).
- Usage data. If we enable analytics, we may collect anonymized, aggregate data about how the Site is used (pages viewed, approximate region, device type). We prefer cookieless analytics and will post a cookie notice if that ever changes.
How we use it
- To respond to your inquiry and evaluate a possible engagement.
- To operate, secure, and improve the Site.
- To meet legal and accounting obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
We use a small set of service providers who process data only on our behalf: our email provider (Google Workspace), our form handler, and, if enabled, an analytics provider. We may disclose information if required by law.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under GDPR and the CCPA), you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you may opt out of certain processing. To make a request, email elijah@chainfelt.com.
Data retention and security
We keep inquiry data only as long as needed to respond and for our records, then delete it. We use reasonable measures to protect it, though no method of transmission is perfectly secure.
